Conservative shoulder therapies
(non-surgical treatments for shoulder injuries)
The shoulder is a very complex joint. Accidents lead to contusions, strains, dislocations of the shoulder or even joint splits (connected humeral head or clavicle fracture) and capsule tears of the shoulder. Every injury to the shoulder leaves damage to ligaments, bones and cartilage, which should be treated sooner or later. A medical examination is therefore strongly recommended.

Conservative shoulder therapies
The conservative therapy for shoulder injuries aims at an optimal and timely pain reduction.
In acute shoulder pain, cooling helps to prevent the pain and the risk of effusion or swelling in the shoulder.
After a comprehensive shoulder diagnosis and in coordination with the patient's state of health, therapeutic applications (physiotherapy, osteopathy, etc.) can accelerate and improve the body's healing processes.
In order to improve function and reduce pain induced by arthrosis, drugs, analgesics or in more serious cases the use of local anaesthetics are an alternative to relieve the inflammatory stimuli and pain.
In addition, bandages are used for injuries (shoulder contusions, strains, torn tendons, dislocation or ruptures of the shoulder joint, bone fractures, clavicle fractures, capsule tears) of the shoulder to stabilize the injury and pain conservatively (non-surgically).
Individual solutions are always required, whether a shoulder injury should be treated conservatively or surgically. Together with the patient, the optimum therapy for the injured shoulder is worked out on the basis of the patient's state of health, professional requirements, age and sporting activities.

Conservative therapies enable shoulder diagnostics and optimal pain reduction without surgical intervention.
